El río / The river

The rain and snow of the past week have increased the river flow. We can't walk by the river side.

Antes caminábamos por debajo del puente:
Before, we used to walk under the bridge:

Ahora deberíamos nadar:
Now we should swim:

¿Y el muro de graffiti?
And the graffiti wall?

Imposible
Impossible

Ven ya, primavera...
Come soon, spring...

Invierno / Winter

Invierno. Época de nieve. Momento de lluvia. Días más cortos. Paseos más rápidos.
Winter. Snow time. Rainny moments. Shorter days. Faster walks.

Pero las mismas costumbres.
But the same habits.

Los olores son igual de intensos.
Scents are equally intense.

Conejo a la vista.
Rabbit on sight.

Falsa alarma. Seguimos el camino.
False alarm. Let's go on.

El tiempo vuela / Time flies

No voy a descargar aquí mi agenda, tranquilos.
I hadn't realize it had been so long since my last post. The truth is that this second semester is keeping me really busy: new subjects, lots of classes to teach, a large number of students, papers to be published, conferences to attend... OK I'm not going to unload my agenda in here.
Though it's been ages, I'll share with you some pictures we took during our Christmas holidays. Guess where we spent the break. Of course, in Cóbreces. How nice is Luaña's beach!

Siempre mirando al horizonte
Always looking to the horizon

Corriendo por la arena
Running on the sand

Pidiendo una chuche
Asking for a treat

Mis chicos y yo disfrutando estos ratitos
My guys and I enjoying these moments

How nice to be at the grandparents'!

How much fun we had on the Wisemen night with Me and Samuel!

Hasta pronto playa.
Farewell, beach.
